<p>When thinking about becoming more involved in the online video world, instead of putting all your eggs in one basket as the saying goes. Create a series, create a series that you can really release a little bit each week and mapping out your business. </p>
<p>As mentioned before in a previous video, your business is changing on a month to month basis, and your content should reflect those changes. Don&#8217;t get stuck with one video that in 6 months time will not be as effective or useful to you because your business model has changed.</p>
<p>Create a series of videos that not only creates value but truly reflects your company on a weekly basis. </p>

<p>Customer Testimonials are a great way to build on your Youtube Community, by actively collecting customer testimonials you&#8217;re building a library of happy customers that people can go to your channel and see what other people are saying about your product or service.</p>
<p>So why is customer testimonials important? It goes back to building trust between your brand or company &#038; potential clients. It&#8217;s psychologically embedded to trust people who appear to be more like us. It doesn&#8217;t feel like we are merely marketed towards as we are on daily basis. </p>
<p>Use unfabricated testimonials, let your customers be as natural as they are or can be when producing these videos. Use as many short quotes as possible with as many people as you can using your product or service, but don&#8217;t be afraid to have your testimonials go longer.</p>
<p>And use relevant and persuasive testimonials, testimonials are to lead your potential customer into a decision. They should be enthusiastic and strike all the right cords as to the benefits of using your service.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Thought I&#8217;d start off our first Follow Friday with a person that has inspired all of us a great deal in the past with the amount of work he has done in the Tech &amp; Startup Community in Hamilton.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I am of course referring to the one and only Kevin Browne of Software Hamilton. I first met Kevin at the 3rd or 4th DemoCamp. Ever since then he has been a constant inspiration to me and the online video content I&#8217;ve created.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Kevin runs SoftwareHamilton an online community geared to help foster growth, create networking events, and really help grow Hamilton&#8217;s Software community. The site he runs also lets people in the Tech &amp; Startup space know of any job openings, gives really good advice and articles that are by contributors that support his drive and determination to perpetuate this industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">He has been a constant stream of inspiration to me, his sense of passion for what he has loved helped me drive forward with certain goals such as modelling Hamilton Web Series Meet-ups around his Startup Drinks.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The Tech &amp; Startup community he helped bring together was also instrumental in combining my two passions, creating web series and startups. Which is how TechTalk4HamOnt now TechTalk X was born.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Kevin was also awarded the DiFizen of the Year award by Innovation Factory, I don&#8217;t think I have met anyone in my life that has been so driven has done so much in so little time as he has. He also helps co-ordinate DemoCamp which happens every 4 months or so, DemoCamp is a event that takes place that allows developers and startups pitch an idea or demo an application in front of a group of peers.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">In closing, I think, it would be difficult to comprehend how instrumental Kevin Browne has been to the city of Hamilton unless you followed him right from the beginning. We often take for granted these individuals who are creating change within the city, sometimes that&#8217;s not the case.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Kevin has done a lot for one person, and this is why Kevin is the first Follow Friday for us he has taught us many things and connected us with many different people and for that we are humble and grateful to him for being the change he wishes to see in the city.</p>

<p>Just like any other social media platform Youtube needs your vested time to build a subscriber base for your company.</p>
<p>Why is having a youtube strategy important to your end goal, it&#8217;s about maximizing visibility for your company. If you were to post a video on your youtube channel, normally your end goal is to share it on Twitter and Facebook.</p>
<p>Your Youtube Channel may only have between 10 to 20 subscribers which means only 10 to 20 will actually see your video on YouTube, it then becomes apparent that you wish to reach the 500 &#8211; 1000 followers on Twitter and perhaps 200 to 500 &#8216;likes&#8217; on Facebook. </p>
<p>When you should be building your subscriber base on YouTube as well to have more people like and comment on your video which will then help rank your video and your strategy work more effectively.</p>
